Ryan DeJonghe - The Avid Reader
I didn't always read, but that changed in June of 2013. I dropped the unnecessary stuff and picked up the awesome stuff--like reading! I started posting my reviews on Amazon and within a few months rose to the top 0.1% of reviewers. My reviews then went to Goodreads, and now my blog (http://ryandejonghe.wordpress.com) and Twitter (@Ryan_Reads).

I feel like I'm cheating by putting this into my read pile. This is a short story found in a not-so-wholesome magazine (May, 2013; if you're curious). I warmed up my review of Doomed with a read of this. WOW! I've never read so many synonymous verbiages used to describe genitalia. Cannibal, which has nothing to do with forks, knives, and fleshy-bits (sort of), is coming-of-age only told in Palahniuk-ism type of way. Confused? Well, I don't want to give it away, but for those faint of heart or easily (or not so easily) offended--stay away and pray for me. For sick bastards like myself, come on in.
